They won’t build it, but they will put it in a video game…
This game, Ford Racing Off Road, is a follow up to the wildly unknown street racing game Ford Racing. The game has a release date of “TBD” and details are few and far between. Looks like it’s for PC only. Too bad for us xbox fans. I admit the screen shots look good…
Not surprising that they included Rover, their “real” off-road brand, but tell me why the Freestyle is in here too…
This is just different enough that I had to pass this along…
Not real surprising to see 4×4′s indoors. After all, there are Monster Trucks and Supercross inside all the time…but this isn’t an event, it’s a full time facility (in Australia).
I thought the point of ‘wheelin (one of them anyway) was to get outside. Oh well.

Just when the pickup truck market seems to have made the full transition from Compact to Mid-size, it looks like we’re heading back the way we came.
According to this story at Pickuptruck.com (reporting from the North American International Auto show), several manufacturers are heading back to the good old days of compact trucks. Leading the charge are Toyota and Dodge, which is ironic when you consider the fact that the Dodge Dakota started the mid-size craze. Not surprising is the discussion of fuel economy and possible hybrid models.
I guess it was only a matter of time before the Chevy Luv mad a return to greatness.
