It’s a Nissan…no, a Suzuki…no, a Hot Wheel…

Awesome idea or marketing gone bad? You decide…

Suzuki has now officially released a new mid-size pickup to “attract buyers of its motorcycles, ATVs, and marine products – weekend warriors”. The Equator is based on the Nissan Frontier/Novara platform and (as near as I can tell ) shares all the platform and powertrain DNA of the Frontier.

Will it fly? I don’t know…but I do like the HotWheels/Video Game style paint job on this show truck.

Is Ford Secretly Developing an Actual Off-Road Vehicle?!?!?!?!

According to multiple, relatively-reliable sources, Ford is working on a long travel suspension version of the F150. Code name Raptor, the alleged vehicle is still a couple years away. This is encouraging, as the F150 tends to be the test platform for a lot of technology that trickles down to smaller vehicles…dare I dream of a Bronco/Sport Trac/Ranger worth buying…

In Case You Need a Checklist for your Jeep Upgrades…

I haven’t posted anything from FourWheeler for a while, and this photo caught my attention.

I’m not sure if it was a “weak link” or a “strong fix” that tossed this Rubicon upside down, but this is a good little Jeep summary.

Had to Look Twice Didn’t Ya?

This is pretty cool. You really have to look close to tell these scale R/C models from the real thing…and they look pretty capable off road.YouTube Preview Image

Maybe I need another hobby…
