Smaller is Better?

Just when the pickup truck market seems to have made the full transition from Compact to Mid-size, it looks like we’re heading back the way we came.

According to this story at Pickuptruck.com (reporting from the North American International Auto show), several manufacturers are heading back to the good old days of compact trucks.  Leading the charge are Toyota and Dodge, which is ironic when you consider the fact that the Dodge Dakota started the mid-size craze.  Not surprising is the discussion of fuel economy and possible hybrid models.

I guess it was only a matter of time before the Chevy Luv mad a return to greatness.
