Ok, I know I’m getting too video-heavy on the site this week, but I got so worked up I had to pass this along. Vintage Trans Am racing video of the legendary Boss 302 (possibly my favorite Mustang variant).

Two things that really grabbed me are the sound of this automobile (perfect?) and the obvious effort of the driver in piloting this vehicle. Can you say “wrestling the wheel”?

I’ve probably driven past this sign a couple dozen times and never noticed the typo.  I can’t help but wonder how many people and possible revisions a sign like this goes through before getting the final go-ahead for production.

So you thought the Sportmobile was the pinnacle of off road, family-truckster, live-out-of-your-vehicle technology?  This VW T3 may have something to say about that…

While I like the geek inspired gadgetry and “what the hell is that?” factor of the VW, I have to admit a certain appreciation for the Sportmobile.  It is a Ford after all.

Yup…this is the one. The Fiat Panda 4×4. But…I will have to have it shipped in from Malta.

Go ahead…laugh…but if you read closely you will see it has Steyr-Puch DNA. It’s a Pinzgauer (cleverly disguised as a Jeep Patriot)!

Seems like someone was requesting AMC Eagle photo/sighting/coverage recently…so here it is.

Was the Eagle truly before its time? Probably. Was it just a sign of things to come?

It could be that the Eagle was a station wagon/SUV “Crossover” before there was even an SUV category. Hmmm…
