It’s Official – the H3T is a Reality…

h3tofficial.jpg

The Hummer H3T has reportedly gone into production – even after the economic proclamation that, supposedly, the ”SUV/Truck is dead”.  I applaud GM for having the Balls to produce this vehicle.

A few quick stats…front and rear lockers, 32 or 33 inch tires,  available V8 (or 239 hp/241 torque from a 5 cylinder), manual trans, 4:03 to 1 xfer case…sounds pretty trail-worthy right of the lot.  Full time 4×4 is also indicated, but I assume that is an option?

FJ Cruisers and Rubicon JKs beware?

Ford…are you listening?

Wanna Live in Your Truck (on the Rubicon)?

Admit it…we’ve all thought about living out of our vehicles, either out of sad necessity or for camping cool-factor.

Well, for only $110,000, now you can - with the Earth Roamer XV-JP.  From our own back yard in Lafayette, CO no less…

That’s only a few dollars more than a new Rubicon…sounds like a good deal to me.

I Stand (Partially) Corrected on the Hot Wheels Truck Thing…

One day after making my case for Matchbox over Hot Wheels in the battle of cool die-cast mini ‘wheelers I found this little Baja Bronco gem at my local Target…

Doesn’t have quite the realism of the Matchbox stuff, but still very cool.

Jeepster Jam? Who Knew…

Several notable things about this video:

1.  There is an actual “Jam” event dedicated to Commandos.

2.  The wheelin’ in TN looks outstanding!

3.  Commando drivers are Loverboy fans.  Not that there’s anything wrong with that…

You Just Don’t See Enough Old Jeeps…

Just for fun…because I like the Jeep and it looks like it’s one of our Wyoming “neighbors”.
