Chrysler and Nissan Break It Off…

fortuneslfiat012109fortune216x164.jpg

According to CNN Money, it seems Nissan fans have been spared the embarrassment of being associated with Chrysler.  Let us rejoice!

Looks like the stellar state of Chrysler’s business has led to second thoughts regarding the announced plan of trading small cars for large trucks.

Instead, Nissan will be left alone to make good products and Chrysler will seek salvation from France…in the form of a 35% pity investment from Fiat.  There’s dark humor in there somewhere, but I’m not sure I want to pursue it.

Simple Toys…

I have to admit a certain affection for the basic Toys.  I wish Nissans had the same perceived ground clearance from the factory.

This is also a good example of dress wheels on an off road truck.  Still not sure where I stand on that issue.
